Chinese Apps banned in India: In support to “Atma Nirbhar Bharat” campaign, the centre has banned 59 apps. The list includes famous TikTok, WeChat and UC Browser.
According the Sources, the inputs from intelligence department suggested that the apps are violating the terms of usage, which compromise the users privacy, and also being used as spyware or malware.
A day before Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi called for boycott of Chinese products.
